In the Fall of 2019 MLB wanted a way to connect with Gen Z fans through MLBshop.com. 82% of Gen Z (surveyed) prefer to work, study, and playwithout the need for a wardrobe change. Use vintage baseball stripes to create logo-less casual wear for young baseball fans

MLB will draw inspiration from the stripes historically found in baseball uniforms to create casual-wear for Gen Z fans.
