Newsela | 2023

COVID lockdowns and at home learning created a gap in student/ teacher participation and Newsela helps teachers create an interactive classroom as students return to school. So to illustrate what learning with Newsela look like, we filmed a real exercise. Two groups of students were separated into two very different learning approaches. One was taught via a skill-and-drill program; the other, an informed debate powered by Newsela.
